After being in administration for almost 7 years and living as a skincare and fitness fanatic since high school, he decided to strike out in the middle, bringing the two together Health + Beauty. He was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and recently moved to San Diego CA, where he discovered Sorrento Mira Mesa in San Diego was the perfect place to open his medical spa.

 

Cosmetologist Alejandro Diaz is owner and director of Athenas Spa. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Santa María University and then attended the Avanti Studies Higher School of Cosmetology. He completed a Master's Degree in International Medical Cosmetology and Dermatology at Grupo Esneca Formación.

 

After finishing his cosmetology studies, he initially worked as a cosmetologist at Athenas Spa, where he has continued to run Athenas Spa for 6 years. Cosmetologist Alejandro is continually improving his knowledge and training in aesthetics by attending conferences and courses to hone his skills.

 

Alejandro likes to spend his time outside the spa exercising at the gym, taking care of his body, soul and spirit, as well as spending time with his three dogs Diego, Lady and Kira. Fun fact: Athenas Spa was named after the Goddess ATHENAS, goddess of Greek mythology, associated with wisdom, war, justice, craftsmanship, and the protection of heroes.
